As an artist I seek to explore the cracks and spaces in our experiences, the unseen created by our current reality and the honesty in the intention and impulse of our bodies when faced with choice. I am drawn to the boundaries of physical capacity and cerebral moments of pattern and form while still seeking the intimacy of our bodies. I create because I want to develop new visual environments and sensations that I have yet to see or experience. My work draws on investigation and questioning of limits, of mining the inescapeable history of our stories, of truth in the present, in making choices that have no goal but to be a choice in and of itself, to radicalize our notion of expectations of art and form , to be a person in stillness just listening, to take action for our well being and to keep risking everything until we have known the other side of ourselves and each other.
